Computer Basic Education Internship

Project Description:
Computer Basics Education Internship (Winter/Spring 2013 cycle): Teach immigrant adults how to use technology using the MRNY ‘Computer 101’ curricular materials; help students bridge the digital divide and use technology to empower themselves and their families. ? A cover letter detailing your interest in the position, your career interests, and experience and goals for your internship with us ? A resume ? Selected interns are expected a commitment of 20 hours/ week for 3-6 months to be divided as follows: ? 1:00pm to 5:30 pm Saturdays (for 8 weeks at the beginning of the internship) 4.5 hours/Saturday ? 5:30pm - 8:00 pm Tuesdays, Thursdays (for 8 weeks) 5hrs ? 10.5 hours during Winter/Spring class cycle to be discussed with designated supervisor ? 20 hours may be changed as discussed with supervisor after the Winter/Spring class cycle.
