ESL Through Computers Coach

Project Description:
Work along other volunteers and our inspiring Adult-Ed staff to support Spanish speaking immigrant communities with their English language development. Coaches will facilitate students’ use of websites, software programs and computer applications geared toward ESOL skill development. A typical shift will consist of 2.25 hours of class instruction and 1.75 hrs. of team planning and preparation. We have various shifts available on Fridays and highly encourage various shifts. We run in three (3) months cycles and we ask that volunteers commit to at least one. Required volunteer hours are adjusted depending on volunteers’ willingness to work several shifts.
